Interesting Day: 1/30/2012

Mitt Romney Rally in downtown Dunedin, with a large crowd in Pioneer Park. Pinellas county Sheriffs were every where (on roofs, in the crowd, etc.).  The size of the rally led to Occupy Tampa protestors and general protestors visiting, who we ended up crashing by posing in-front of their protest sheets with Romney posters, all of which the media loved.  I was also interviewed as a youth supporting Mitt Romney (pictured above).

The speech Romney gave was decent. It was directed towards veterans as he spoke fondly of America (even reciting lines from "America the Beautiful").  As a candidate, Mitt Romney is also learning how to get more personable with his electorate, which at times seems forced, but the effort is appreciated.  Overall, this rally I think was a success, and should lead into a strong primary showing on Tuesday.
